INSTRUCTIONS Create 3 different branded social media posts introducing your restaurant to the world. Each post should use your restaurant’s color scheme, logo, and typography, and could include: ✔ A teaser announcement post ✔ A signature dish feature post ✔ A “coming soon” countdown post  POSTS      With the beginning of this assignment my research began with the multiple ways other sorts of resturants have done their types of posts, and annoucments. Also to dissect the ways to configure, and construct these types of posts. At first I had trouble with finding out how to correctly fit in certain ways to implment my logo and certain brandmark phrases that can cater to all audiences.    Teaser Announcement Post       The teaser was great fun to make with the various inspirations, and trying to add my own spice to the mix. It came out to be amazing, not only did the actual post came out great the addition of my type face and fon...

Font Choice

Image
INSTRUCTIONS Identify and justify the main fonts for your restaurant’s brand. Select a primary typeface for the logo and a secondary font for the menu and marketing materials. Explain your choices based on readability, tone, and cultural influences. Make sure the typefaces align with the artistic, immersive branding approach, emphasizing the role of typography in shaping the dining experience . Font Choices  Primary Font Choice- I chose Playfair Display as a Primary font choice for logo, and other branding uses. The font structure makes it an amazing addition for branding as a simple and professional looking fontype, but still have a great spice to lettering. Secondary Font Choice - I chose IM Fell Great Primer as a secondary font choice for menu display, and sub-heading. This choice spoke to me greatly for its strong structure and easy reading, but doesn't makes it self be too strung out for its bold font face.   These font choices would be my last r...

This weeks exercise is called Repurposed Product. The Repurposing Challenge The idea is simple: Take an ordinary object and think of new ways to use it. This helps you look at things differently, rethink their purpose, and become more resourceful. Some of the coolest inventions and designs come from this kind of thinking! How to Do It Pick an Item – Choose something simple like a mason jar, an old t-shirt,...

The Creation of the logo

Instructions   Sketch at least 30 different thumbnails for your restaurant’s logo. Explore various typography, symbols, and branding ideas. Upload your sketches for feedback. Remember, thumbnails are quick sketches that help you "visually brainstorm." Please spend no more than 30-45 seconds on each sketch. More options mean more chances for a successful idea, so please do not hesitate to create more than 30.   ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

El Coqui Indu

Imagine                              Set the GPS, drive on down, the fresh night breeze, full moons out, Beaming. And when you start to arrive at your destination you see the bright colors, the Red and Green hues of the lights, and the flags of Puerto Rico and Brazil flying high. As you come into the parking lot and you exit you car all you can hear is the laughter, and la music à boriqu a blaring from inside inviting you to come inside and let you have your own fun.                        As you step inside you are hit with a wave of scents from the fresh beef searing on the grills, to the s azón and the cumin being sprinkled and tossed, and with the various mixtures of peppers all being combined to a tangy and spicy creation of deliciousness, that would make you float into the air like a cartoon character.
