The Runner up's!

 Instructions

For your top 3 jobs, what is the company, what are the company's stated values, goals, and mission? Do they have a Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, or other social media accounts? What did you learn about the company from their website? Did you learn anything about the company from Glassdoor, newspaper articles, industry articles, or other online/news services? Are you friends or connected in any way with anybody currently at the company?

 My Choices

1. Video and Motion Graphics Editor – Third Way.org

Third Way feels like one of those rare places where creative work and meaningful impact truly meet. They’re not just producing content for the sake of it they’re shaping conversations, reaching people who might otherwise scroll right past. As a Video and Motion Graphics Editor, I’d have the opportunity to turn ideas into visual stories that stick. It’s about more than smooth cuts and cool animations; it’s about making something that hits the viewer emotionally and makes them want to know more. That’s the type of editing that feels alive to me where every frame has a purpose. What really draws me in is the challenge. Translating complex policy topics into visuals that anyone can understand isn’t easy, but that’s the fun part. You’re using creativity as a bridge between an idea and a person who might never have thought about it before. It’s not just designing motion it’s designing connection. And in a world where so much content feels disposable, being part of something that actually sticks with people is the kind of work I’d be proud to do.

2. Digital Marketing Assistant – Page Street Publishing (Salem, MA)

Page Street Publishing has this charm that’s hard to ignore; their books feel personal, thoughtful, and beautifully crafted. Being a Digital Marketing Assistant here means stepping into a space where creativity meets strategy, and the mission is clear: help great stories find their readers. It’s the kind of role where every campaign, every post, every image you put out into the world is a chance to connect a book with someone who might love it. That’s what makes it feel special. What excites me most is the hands-on nature of the work. You’re not just following a formula; you’re actively shaping how an audience discovers something new. Social media content, campaign planning, and audience engagement all of it is about creating moments that make people stop and think, “I need this book in my life.” And in a publishing world that’s packed with competition, helping unique voices break through feels not only rewarding, but personal. It's very personal; it's also a place where I very much want to return, being a place where I grew up. I feel that this job not only applies the very fundamentals of an interesting and well-crafted mission, but also keeps the aspect of what makes us human and makes us return to being kids once again.

3. Graphic Designer – Miami Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins bring more than just football to the table they carry energy, pride, and community. As a Graphic Designer here, you’re working with a brand that lives in the spotlight, but also one that has deep ties to the people who support it. Whether it’s designing game-day hype visuals, community outreach graphics, or promotional campaigns, you’re telling the team’s story in a way that keeps fans engaged and excited. It’s the perfect mix of high-profile design work and meaningful storytelling. The appeal is in the variety and the reach. Your work could show up on a stadium screen one day, on thousands of phones the next, and even in the hands of fans as merchandise or printed materials. But beyond the flash of the NFL, there’s also the heart the community programs, charity events, and youth initiatives the Dolphins run. Being part of the team that brings those efforts to life visually would mean creating designs that aren’t just seen, but remembered. And that’s the type of work that makes you feel connected to something bigger. Even if I was a die hard original Patriots fan....
