2 - List 10 things you learned about writing effective cover letters.

 Research

 

  1. Cut fluff words like “I think” or “I believe.” 
  2. Show passion, not just qualifications.
  3. Use specific examples instead of vague claims.
  4. Use professional but positive language.
  5. Reference the employer’s name and role in the opening.
  6. Research the employer and show genuine interest.
  7. Show excitement for future growth.
  8. End by inviting next steps (interview).
  9. End with a confident closing line.
  10. Avoid repeating your resume line by line.

Instructions Visual Voice Inventory.  Create a collage or slide show of 8–10 pieces of your past creative work (photos, drawings, designs, etc.). Analyze them as a set: Write down the first words or feelings that come to mind for each piece, then look for patterns. Do certain adjectives repeat?
