Reflection

For this Project I wanted to kind of stray away a little bit from what I created last week, and go for a bit of a fun and playful work based around a product. So for this mock ad, I wanted to play with the idea of perspective not just in the product, but in how the image makes you feel at first glance. I placed a simple pair of glasses against a rocky shoreline with the ocean blurred in the background. There’s a calmness to it, but also something reflective, like a pause in motion. The phrase “Sea the world from different lenses” landed naturally a quiet pun, but it adds just enough without feeling forced.

The layout is pretty straightforward. Everything’s got its space to breathe. The text sits confidently without getting in the way of the image, and the logo and details are tucked to the side enough to be seen but not loud about it. It keeps the focus on the scene while still getting the point across.

Colors stay easy on the eyes. That soft contrast between the bold white type and the muted tones of the ocean feels clean, but not cold. Even the glasses being transparent let the background come through, which ties it all back to the idea of seeing more, not just differently. It’s the kind of ad that doesn’t overexplain, but lets you sit with it a second. And that’s sort of the charm. Not to simple, but not too over crowded with information, a simple harmony between charming, and professional.
