Project 3 & 4 Adobe Tutorials

 Instructions

 Using one of the beginner projects at   https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-pro/tutorials.html, create a 15-30 second video in .mp4 format. Upload and describe what you learned from the project.

Project 3

            For my first submission I wanted to create a video demonstrating the use of motion blur effects on video. With the use of a waterfall b-roll footage I found I wanted to see how I could use and experiment with it, and to say the least it is a very simple process. But that doesn't take away from the very complex uses of this simple effect, just like everything in premier you can create very simple 15 second videos with basic effects, but to really push the limits of how you can use the effects you have to tinker and deep dive into the effect. But were not here for that... The motion blur effect really is as simple as demonstrated in the tutorial and makes its great use to make those rough motion in your videos to be smoothed out and not be seen to harsh in the video, and like how I used it I masked it a bit to follow the water and feather out at the source at the bottom.

 

Project 4

 

        And lastly for the my second submission I wanted to experiment with some of the more fun color based effects in the tutorials tab. This effect being the duo tone effect, this effect allow you to to make great use of the adjustment layers in premier, and to add tint to your videos, and layer it with more adjustment layers to make the transition of the color and the gradient of the color to pan out into a bigger spectrum of colors. This effect isn't a very widely used effect, but it does have its niche uses, and I surely will be on the lookout for those.
