UI/UX The difference!

Hey there! I just started learning about UI/UX design, and honestly, I had no clue what it meant at first. So, I figured I’d share what I’ve learned so far in case it helps other beginners like me. UI stands for User Interface this is all about how a website or app looks. Think buttons, colors, fonts, and layout. UX stands for User Experience  this is about how a website or app feels to use. Is it easy to navigate? Do things make sense? Does it load fast? Together, UI/UX design focuses on making websites or apps not only look good but also work smoothly for the people using them.

 Tips

  1. Keep it simple
Don’t overload the page with too much stuff. Clean designs are easier to understand.

  2. Use clear navigation

Make menus easy to find and labels easy to understand. People shouldn't get lost.

  3. Make it mobile-friendly

A lot of people use phones. Make sure your site works well on small screens.

  4. Use readable fonts

Fancy fonts can be cool, but if people can’t read them, it’s a problem.

  5. Be consistent

Stick to the same styles, colors, and layouts so everything feels connected.

  6. Prioritize speed

Slow websites are frustrating. Compress images and keep things lightweight.

  7. Use buttons that look like buttons

If something is clickable, make sure it looks clickable.

  8. Give feedback

When users click something, show a change  like a color shift or a loading icon  so they know it worked.

  9. Test with real people

Watch how friends or classmates use your site. You'll learn a lot from where they get stuck.

  10. Focus on your users, not just design trends

Cool trends are great, but the most important thing is that people enjoy using your site.
