Designs
To begin with the designs, my first thoughts were to read the instructions well to get a firm understanding of what I would like to do to promote my restaurant. El Coqui Indu while it being a family restaurant you would want your promotions to be professional and to get your message straight across. With that being said I wanted to create my first design based around digital advertising, and having custom creations for the restaurant it self. And with this in mind my designs started to come to me.
At first I wanted to create a social media post-esck design, but to do that would be to bland and I would like to challenge myself with this task. And that challenge being to create a billboard advertising as most restaurants, and other establishments have for their businesses. The banner is simple and gets the message across very clear with having the logo in the middle to promote my restaurant, but also adding our slogan, and where the people to contact to setup reservations. A simple clean banner with a smoky background, simple and sleek.
With the utensil bundle designs, I tried to my very best to try and recreate them in a real life aspect, and to portray them as if they were printed. With the utensil bundle I wanted to keep it simple, but not go to overboard with designs and colors cause the main portion of the restaurant is the food, and experience, and moments you get to have, while not cheap-ing out and making sure just throw everything together and call it a design. The design on the bundle is the logo of the restaurant as if it was stamped with a gold accent shadow to give that extra spice.
To bring it all together is the loyalty cards. I am one for free deserts and free meals no matter what loyalty program especially if i'm going to be returning. So why not do the same for my restaurant, I encourage coming back if feel so, and if you do you get rewarded. The design for me was one of my best out of the bunch with the front being brilliantly organized and the back showing the stamp locations, and what it is exactly with a elegant vine design and to rep the restaurant color palette.
