5 locations in florida
Hello again! And welcome back to my blog. Today's little blog is quite compelling one to say the least. This week I wanted to see if there was some places in my state of Florida where I and others could go to, to see if these areas are great possibilities for them to take amazing photos or if they are just a bust. I took the liberty to kind of go through and fully research the areas and what they have to offer in terms of their focus, their location, their prices, their times, and of course their surroundings. But without further ado, let kick it straight to the first one!
1. The "Sunken Gardens" location in St. Petersburg, Florida
This botanical garden is location in St. Petersburg, Florida, a good drive away but so worth the drive. Exploring around the garden and its other surroundings. This location is perfect for any "Wildlife" or Flower Photographer. The great assortments and different array of flowers that they have in the garden is beyond what I thought it would be. While not only being a great place for flower photography the little lakes and ponds that they have at the garden. Overall the experience in this area would be phenomenal for any flower photographer and the little wildlife here and there to add to the scenes as well. But for under $20 dollars for full access and until 4:30pm closing time, I would call Sunken gardens a great place if you are looking for great photos, or if you just want to enjoy the scenery. Nevertheless its still beautiful whichever way you decide to experience it.
2. Biscayne National Park, Fl
This "park" at first glance doesn't seem to have a lot in store from when I first found it. But I wanted to give it its chance just like the others. With having amazing views of the ocean from coast to coast. There are several services that can help you elevate your experience with not only going for underwater shots, there are scuba diving services, on top of those services there is multiple ways to have boats bring you in and out of the ports, and multiple vantage points where you can take gorgeous wave shots, and landscape shots. While the area does look at little bland at first actually experiencing it with maybe yourself, or with family is truly amazing. And of course I'm speaking from experience here. But other than that it is a free access area with only needing a boat to get to the park I would call this a snag for some great pictures.
3. Naples Botanical Garden, Collier County, Fl
You might be thinking. Another Botanical garden?! Alright, alright hear me out. While scourging for places I wanted to narrow it down to as little to one garden, but I couldnt help myself. This garden when I first saw really just caught my eye, with its display of ponds and its vast forestry I couldnt help myself but put it on the list. While this garden having a $25 dollar entry fee per person, as the last one this is super worth the fee. With such a big play field and with so many different ways and areas to take photographs and pieces from it is honestly one of the greatest places that I have seen so far and most likely the one place you do not want to miss.
4 & 5. Orlando & St. Augustine, Fl
Welcoming the home of Universal, and the home of the San Marcos Monument. These two places being my last picks were honestly just due to some many of the greatest areas being in this two parts of Florida. Orlando being one of the biggest tourists spots and maybe the greatest city-scape when it comes to Florida, it has tons of amazing photography potential. And that just talking about the city itself and not even including the multiple attractions that it brings. While on the other side being St. Augustine, with its old timely feel to the city, and its beautiful ports you really couldn't ask for anything better than that. Even regardless of the ports the city and other attractions come to par when its in a photographers eyes. These two choices were honestly too great to just whittle it down to just one attraction these two cities are too great to pass up and are the two biggest contenders when it comes down to areas you need to go to.
