Creativity Exercise - week 2
Welcome back y’all! To the weekly creativity blog! We’re back at it again with another cool entry, and like always, I’ve got something fun and weird to talk about today. This week’s been a mix of chaos and chill, but even with all the running around, I still found time to sit down and make something that really got my brain going.
Usually I’m doing these exercises with my siblings or some close friends ,But with some research I found a pretty cool concept for an exercise that I found online. And with my research I came to a concept that I pretty much liked and would be calling it the “Double Duty Challenge.” The whole idea is to create one object that serves two totally different purposes. That’s it. But trust me, it’s not as easy as it sounds. You gotta stretch your imagination just enough to make something that could actually exist, but still sounds wild enough to turn heads. Think of stuff like:
-
A hoodie that doubles as a backpack
-
A spoon that works as a mini fan
-
A pen that transforms into a flashlight for late-night writing sprees
-
A water bottle that turns into a dumbbell for travel workouts
-
A pair of headphones that pop open into a tiny umbrella
-
A notebook with detachable sticky notes that double as phone stands
-
A scarf that unzips into a picnic blanket
-
A ring that holds a USB drive
-
A phone case with built-in floss (weirdly helpful?)
-
A coffee mug that doubles as a plant pot once it's cracked or chipped
So yeah, if you ever hit a creative block or just want something chill but clever to mess around with, I highly recommend giving this a try. And like always I wish you guys have as much fun as I did, and ill see you guys. On the next one! 👋
