design blog- week 2

Hello again! This week has been a dozy. With alot of the new things getting introduced and alot of cool projects to introduce them into, ive got alot of stuff building up on the my plate. And coming from the beginning and basics of html is going to be a crazy week learning alot of the new things we've been shown.

But as I’ve been learning more about web design, things have started to click—especially after moving beyond just the basics of HTML and CSS. At first, it was all about getting content on the page using tags like <h1>, <p>, and <img>. I learned how to source images from both my computer and the web using the <img> tag, which made my pages start to feel more complete.

Then I got into CSS, which really changed the game. Being able to control the look of everything—fonts, colors, spacing—made a huge difference. One of the cooler things I’ve tried is making navigation bars with the <nav> tag and styling them with CSS. It’s pretty satisfying seeing a clean menu that lets people move around the site.
