Holiday Ad Blog

 

 

            What's up guys! And welcome back to my blog. I wont waste anytime getting into this cool project. This week I was tasked with a mission to create 3 holiday ad's in Photoshop. And at first glance this project didn't seem like a big deal until it came down to find out what I actually wanted to base my project around. At first basic holiday ads seemed boring to me, so I kind of wanted to make this project seem more in tune with the holiday's and what better way to tune it into, than HOLIDAY MOVIES!                                                                                                                                                                                                    We all have watched a holiday movie or two back in the day either it be growing up from childhood or even recently. But you might be wondering what Christmas movie are you going to be doing? Not just a single movie, but a channel you may or may not remember.. Hallmark. "The" channel when it came down to any Christmas movie you could think of when the holidays rolled around.                                                                                                                                                                                    This little designs that I've researched along the way when choosing this specific inspiration to go around of was more or less a simple one, but still fun nonetheless I still wanted to make my holiday ads inspired around them because they have given a good portion of my childhood movies, and the "little romance" movies. But enough of the yapping ill let the final results speak.




        To say that the way these came out are honestly funny to me. First I wanted to change the name around to not fully copy off hallmark, of course... But looking back and forth to original hallmark movie ad's to my "Tallmark" copy I cant tell them apart sometimes. But I would love to know what you guys think.

To me emotion is one of the harder features that I struggle with as a designer.
